The censorship of this track proves Kanye West’s key point in why he released it.

It is socially acceptable to talk about and even glorify the killing of some groups (i.e., blacks), but verboten to criticize others (i.e., Jews). There is a double standard in that any discussion, criticism, or even hate of Jews is the third rail of free speech because of history, but all the history goes out the window when it comes to blacks, as the word n****r is fine, so long as black people say it.

TLDR Most people don’t believe in free speech despite their public claims to the contrary.

Free speech is a great litmus test for whether someone can consistently apply a principle, even if they disagree with the outcome. It's why I have Nadine Strossen on here all the time to talk about how both sides only selectively care about free speech.

Censoring this song will only make it more popular–– as it did with Madonna's Justify My Love.

It may create a Streisand Effect, but minus the Jewish aspect given the situation.
