Former Fox News Host and Trump-to-be, Kimberly Guilfoyle, got a promotion and a public severance from the Trump family.
President-elect Donald Trump nominated the former panelist from Fox's The Five to serve as Ambassador to Greece on December 10th. "For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Tuesday. "Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad."
"Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation," he added.

This post came just hours after the public became aware of her split from Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. AF Post tweeted an image of Trump Jr holding hands with a new woman and a message that read, "Donald Trump Jr. appears to have parted ways with fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, photographed hand-in-hand with socialite Bettina Anderson."
The account then posted a link to a DailyMail story that said Guilfoyle and the presidential progeny had not been seen together publicly since November 14th when they were photographed at a victory dinner with other people in the nationalist-populist realm such as former Arizona Senate Candidate Kari Lake and British Member of Parliament Nigel Farage.
The couple were officially engaged in 2021, although this was not made public until 2022, The Huffington Post reported. They had reportedly been together since around 2018.
Guilfoyle was previously married to California's incumbent Governor Gavin Newsom and served as San Francisco's First Lady, during his time as mayor. However, the couple divorced in 2006.
She remarried that same year to a businessman named Eric Villency. They divorced in 2009.
